The franchise draft in which we pick the two teams we will pick our keepers from is set to begin on Friday to give the newer members some time to set up a draft list.
Score4 has the first pick and can make that at anytime, as can the people after him. The draft clock will not start however until Friday.
Franchise draft picks cannot be traded. Draft picks for the Left Over Player Draft will be tradeable after keepers have been set.
Rosters will lock at the time of the first pick. Either Friday morning or whenever score4 makes his pick.
All FAs who have not signed by that date will enter the LOPD, even if they have not signed at the time of the pick. The selecting team will be forced to take on whatever salary they end up signing for however.
A players PP status begins the year after the reach the 150 AB/ 50 IP level and will last for 4 years at a salary of $400K. For example, Mike Trout and Bryce Harper both collected over 150 AB in 2012. Their PP status starts in 2013 and continues through 2016.
The rules stated that all eight keepers could be from one team but after some discussion on the matter the rules have been altered to require a minimum of two players to be kept from each team. This change was to deter someone from drafting a team solely for the minor league system.
I think that answers all the questions. If not let me know.

Picks should be made in the Franchise Draft thread under Initial Team Draft.
